Cary Herz is an award-winning professional photographer specializing in corporate and editorial photography. She is a New Mexico photo correspondent for The New York Times, and is a member of: American Society of Media Photographers National Press Photographers Association National Press Women Cary Herz works with a variety of editorial clients including Time, Newsweek, PC World, People, Ms, Garden Design, The Discovery Channel, The Dallas Morning News , and The Houston Chronicle's Texas Magazine.
Her corporate clients include Wendy's International, Bank of America, GE
Aircraft, Fannie Mae, and the Harvard AIDS Institute.
Her images of Los Angeles gang members appeared in Street Gangs in America, published by Franklin Watts, New York. In 1999 her photographs appeared in The Pilgrimage to Chimayo, published by the Museum of New Mexico Press. In the spring of 2001, her work will be on exhibit at the Smithsonian Institution in Game Face: What Does a Woman Ahlete Look Like?
